    Without having read it I already know that it will be spent explaining that his “CIO” title means Chief Information Officer and not Chief Innovation Officer, only because the “thought leaders” weren’t thinking enough to invent a new moniker like ICO for Innovation Chief Officer, which came later.

    Yep. Just another indication that the term “innovation” at times has about as much validity as trying to do law enforcement with a badge out of a box of Cracker Jacks…

    Oh, but all jokes aside, I see a number of flaws in his thinking, especially not taking into account the role that disruptive concepts could play in some of his projections.
