Nice summary, but come on, this is old stuff in K-12. Schools like Berkeley should be at bleeding edge of research into radical shifts to meet the pace of change that we are seeing!
I found the four points quite interesting. This is directly from TWI’s Job Instruction program developed in 1941. It is the same training program at the core of Toyota’ production system that businesses have been trying to emulate for decades. It does work…it worked then and still is very effective today. Nice to see that higher education has come on-board to sport this practical methodology.
